A little about ...

Michal Češka is a former Czech figure skater and ice dancer who, together with Karolína Procházková, competed for USK Praha and SK Kraso Děčín. They had their top junior performances at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Minsk (21st place) and at the 2011 Grand Prix in Riga, where they took 4th place and set a personal best in the short dance.

As a coach at the Tomáš Verner Academy, he focuses on developing children's musicality and dance temperament. He wants to teach them to connect movement with music, respond naturally to rhythm, and demonstrate the grace and energy that ice dancing offers.

Personal message to parents and children:

"My goal is to encourage children to have the courage to express emotion and rhythm in movement. Ice dancing is a beautiful combination of sport and art – and I believe that everyone can find their own unique path in it."
