Dance Training Camp with Coach Papadakis

In June 2025, a special training camp for ice dance couples took place at Prague’s Icerink, led by the experienced coach Catherine Papadakis, mother of the famous Olympic champion and world champion Gabriella Papadakis. Catherine Papadakis is a respected expert in ice dance technique, choreography, and musical interpretation. During her long career, she has contributed to the preparation of many top-level athletes.

The camp focused on improving step sequence technique, glide, rhythm, and expression on the ice. Young dance couples had the opportunity to work on the details of their choreography, refine their harmony, and gain valuable advice from a coach with rich international experience. The program also emphasized fluid movement and connection with music — the foundation of success in ice dance.

The camp provided participants with new motivation, inspiration for program creation, and experience that will support their athletic development.
