From Mariánské Lázně to Oberstdorf: Women from ATV Head to ISU Adult Competition

Two adult skaters from Akademie Tomáše Vernera will represent the club at the prestigious ISU International Adult Competition, held annually in Oberstdorf, Germany. This year’s edition takes place from 29 June to 4 July 2025.

Before this highlight of the season, the women of ATV delivered strong performances at the 3rd Adult Linden Cup in Mariánské Lázně:

• Ingrid Štegmannová earned 2nd place in the Free Skating Gold Ladies III category with a score of 32.85 points.

• Alyona Shevchenko finished 2nd in a highly competitive Free Skating Silver Ladies I group, scoring 21.52 points.

  
  

The entire ATV team is looking forward to the inspiring atmosphere of the iconic Oberstdorf rink and the chance to represent in a competition that connects figure skating passion across generations and nations.

A tip for all skating fans:As part of the event’s program, the acclaimed documentary film ICE AGED by director Alexandra Sell (2023) will be screened. The film tells the life stories of adult figure skaters from around the world and celebrates courage, determination, and love for the ice – regardless of age.

The screening will take place during the competition in Oberstdorf, and we highly recommend it.
